Attach all required documents to application:
- High school diploma or equivalent with an English translation if needed
- Passing English proficiency exam score (see Admission Eligibility below for more information)
- Bank or Financial Statement (dated within 3 months) with a minimum balance equivalent to $15,484 USD
- Financial Support Form
- Copy of passport (valid for length of program)
Admission Eligibility
This program is intended for students who satisfy the English language proficiency requirement. Any of the following minimum test scores will be accepted as proof of language proficiency. The official copy must be presented to CGI-301 upon arrival to the CSUSB campus for validation.

Additional Requirement
- Applying Undergraduate Level: current college students
- Applying Graduate level: Junior/Senior standing in college or graduate students; Must have overall 2.5 GPA.

Tuition includes 12 credit units for undergraduate students or 6 credit units for graduate students. The Additional Unit Fee applies to each unit above the stated undergraduate limits: $492 per units
Refund Policy
- Full refunds will be given before the first day of the term.
- Fifty percent (50%) refunds given during the first week (5 days) of the term.
- No refunds after the first week (5 days) of the term.
- No refunds on late fees.
- Sponsored Students: If your sponsor does not pay the balance within two terms, you will be responsible for payment.
Health Insurance
All F-1 and J-1 visa applicants must agree to obtain and maintain health insurance as a condition of registration and continued enrollment at CSUSB. Students will not be able to register for classes without purchasing a health insurance plan. The only exception is Students on SACM scholarships, which provide insurance coverage, must show proof to our office (CGI, Third Floor) in order to be excluded.
All students are required to purchase insurance through AHP Care.
Steps to Enroll in Coverage:
- Visit the AHP Care homepage.
- Select the term coverage.
- Submit proof of insurance coverage to the IEP office via email at iep@csusb.edu

On-campus Housing (optional)
On campus housing provides many opportunities to get involved at CSUSB. It's also an excellent chance to build life-long friendships. Student housing is offered in four dormitory environments: Serrano Village, Coyote Village, Arrowhead Village and University Village.

Student Health Center (On-Campus)
As an enrolled student at CSUSB, you pay a Student Health Fee and are eligible for health and counseling services at the Student Health Center and Counseling & Psychological Services office. The CSUSB Student Health Center supports students' academic success by providing high quality accessible health and psychiatric care as well as health education and wellness services in a safe, confidential and compassionate environment.
For counseling or therapy services please contact Counseling and Psychological Services. They also have a full-time staff of Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists and supervised interns.
