How to Apply
I meet CSUSB's English proficiency requirement 1. Submit APP application online 2. Pay $120 non-refundable application fee, AND submit all required documents to iep@csusb.edu 3. Apply for CSUSB university admission on CSU Apply 4. Pay the $70 application fee and upload all documents listed on CSU Apply 5. International admissions will confirm denial to CSUSB direct admission, but eligibility to Academic Pathway Program 6. Receive confirmation for Academic Pathway Program from CSUSB International Education Program (IEP) |

Tuition includes 12 credit units for undergraduate students. The Additional Unit Fee applies to each unit above the stated undergraduate limits: $492 per units.
Refund Policy
- Full refunds will be given before the first day of the term.
- Fifty percent (50%) refunds given during the first week (5 days) of the term.
- No refunds after the first week (5 days) of the term.
- No refunds on late fees.
- Sponsored Students: If your sponsor does not pay the balance within two terms, you will be responsible for payment.
Health Insurance
All F-1 and J-1 visa applicants must agree to obtain and maintain health insurance as a condition of registration and continued enrollment at CSUSB. Students will not be able to register for classes without purchasing a health insurance plan. The only exception is Students on SACM scholarships, which provide insurance coverage, must show proof to our office (CGI, Third Floor) in order to be excluded.
All students are required to purchase insurance through AHP Care.
Steps to Enroll in Coverage:
- Visit AHP Care.
- Select the term of coverage (example: Spring 2024).
- Submit Proof of Insurance Enrollment to the IEP office via email at iep@csusb.edu.

On-campus Housing (optional)
Living on campus provides many opportunities to get involved at CSUSB. It's also an excellent chance to build life-long friendships. Student housing is offered in four dormitory environments: Serrano Village, Coyote Village, Arrowhead Village and University Village.

Student Health Center (on-campus)
As an enrolled student at CSUSB, you pay a Student Health Fee and are eligible for health and counseling services at the Student Health Center and Counseling & Psychological Services office. The CSUSB Student Health Center supports students' academic success by providing high quality accessible health and psychiatric care as well as health education and wellness services in a safe, confidential and compassionate environment.
For counseling or therapy services please contact Counseling and Psychological Services. They also have a full-time staff of Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists and supervised interns.
