You are on your way to becoming a Coyote, CSUSB’s mascot! Below are important steps to join The Pack at Cal State San Bernardino. To secure your admission, you must meet the following deadlines. Missing any required steps may result in the cancellation of your admission, so be sure to stay on top of these tasks.

Steps to Enroll at CSUSB
1. Activate Your myCoyote Account
Your myCoyote student portal will be your hub for payments, registration, and accessing critical information throughout your time at CSUSB.

2. Secure Your Spot: Pay the Confirmation Deposit
After activating your myCoyote account, pay the $150 non-refundable confirmation deposit to secure your spot.
- This non-refundable and non-transferable fee will be applied toward your tuition for the term you applied.
- I-20 will only be issued after students confirm attendance and pay the confirmation deposit.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the guide below to confirm your attendance and pay the deposit.

3. Submit Financial Documents and Passport Copy for Your I-20
After paying the deposit, submit the following documents:
- A completed Affidavit of Support with official signatures and/or a seal (no older than six months).
- A copy of your passport.
- The Documentation of Financial Support for International Students form.
- The form includes the amount required and can be found in the Documentation of Financial Support for International Students. You can also view financial requirements under Tuition and Fees.
4. If Transferring from a U.S. Institution:
- Download and complete the SEVIS Record Transfer form SEVIS Record Transfer.
- Once your SEVIS record has been transferred to CSUSB, and your confirmation deposit is paid, we will issue your I-20.
5. Clear Holds in Your myCoyote Account
- Check your myCoyote account for any holds preventing you from course registration.
- Click on the details to identify which office placed the hold and follow the listed instructions to remove it.
6. Complete the International Pre-Enrollment Advising (IPA) Module
- The IPA module is required for all incoming international undergraduate students.
- Follow the instructions provided in the details of your hold to complete the module and have the hold released.
7. Submit Official Transcripts and Any Pending Documents
- Submit all final grades and outstanding documents listed on your myCoyote To-Do List.
- Documents must be sent directly by your school to CSUSB via electronic file or traditional mail services.
- Make sure all documents are submitted before the deadlines listed under Application & Deadlines Application & Deadlines.
8. Attend Orientation
- Orientation is mandatory for all incoming international students. Learn more about iCoyote 101 Orientation.

Updates on your admission status, additional requirements, and reminders will be sent to your CSUSB email account. Missing a deadline may result in the cancellation of your application. Check your email and myCoyote account at least once a week.
