Faculty/Student Grants
The Faculty/Student Grants are designed to facilitate the initiation and development of collaborative research or creative activity (RCA) between students and faculty. Projects under this program are intended to provide students with in-depth “hands-on” experience in the research or creative activity process.

Research & Creatives Activities (RCA) Faculty Mentor Award
Mentoring students is a vital component of our mission here at CSUSB; it includes offering encouragement and advice on career options and preparing students to meet the highest professional and ethical standards as scholars. In recognition of our faculty, the OSR has created the Research & Creatives Activities (RCA) Faculty Mentor Award.

Peer Lab/Peer Research Consultant (PL/PRC) Program
Peer Lab (PL)
The Peer Lab (PL) program is modeled after Supplemental Instruction (SI) to assist students by providing scheduled, out-of-class supplemental instruction sessions. PL targets high-risk upper-division courses rather than high-risk students.
Peer Research Consultant (PRC)
The Peer Research Consultant program (PRC) are for upper-division undergraduate students or graduate students who assistant instructors with turning course assignments into research projects. The PRC supports as they implement, design, analyze and disseminate the results of their projects.

Faculty support and participation are critical to the success of the Office of Student Research (OSR); that is why each year, the OSR recruit's faculty to review grant applications and serve as jurors during major events. We ask that you consider partnering with the OSR and help us support students' involvement in research and creative activities at CSUSB by signing up to volunteer and serve on one of our Committees during the 2023 - 2024 academic school year.
