Sustainable Rideshare Program Guidelines
Our guidelines are for CSU, San Bernardino members who participate in an alternate mode of transportation and are currently registered in our program. As per the California Educational Code 89701.5, the money to support this program are from Fines and Forfeitures collected from parking citations. The code reads; 89701.5. Money in the State University Parking Revenue Fund received as parking fines and forfeitures shall be used exclusively for the development, enhancement, and operation of alternate methods of transportation programs for students and employees, for the mitigation of the impact of off-campus student and employee parking in university communities, and for the administration of the parking fines and forfeitures programs.
To remain current in the program, monthly logs must be completed online no later than midnight on the 5th of the following month, or incentives will be denied. If you plan to be on an extended vacation or take a leave of absence, please notify the Transportation Services Department. Monthly logs can be found here, Monthly Logs.
