Student Assistance in Learning (SAIL)

CSUSB’s Veterans Success Center and SAIL program have joined forces to serve student veterans that are first-time freshman. SAIL, which stands for "The Student Assistance in Learning Program," provides services aimed at increasing the college retention and graduation rates of targeted undergraduate students. SAIL has built a sound reputation for helping students achieve academic success. For the Spring Quarter of 2015, 54.3% of SAIL students qualified for the program honor roll, and 50% of SAIL Students have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student veterans who would like to enroll in this program must meet the following eligibility requirements to participate:

  • Current or incoming CSUSB undergraduate student;
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
  • Low-income, first-generation or disabled college student.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

EOP is an admissions and support service program designed to assist students who meet specific income guidelines. EOP offers help in admissions, registration, financial aid, housing, and tutoring. Check EOP online for more information, income guidelines, forms, or call 909-537-5042.
