The Physical Activity and Pedagogical Success Laboratory gives students the opportunity to explore innovative technology in the field. The incorporation of iPads, various apps (such as Coach’s Eye), and Bluetooth heart rate monitors will allow Pedagogy majors to explore the possibilities of physical education for a tech savvy generation of K-12 students. In addition, the utilization of the various physical education assessment and movement analysis tools used in the lab in conjunction with the gymnasium and the outdoor settings will help students to examine such tools through the lens of an authentic physical education environment.
