At California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), the spirit of commitment and growth thrives within its staff members. Among them is Leann Bactad Pulido, whose journey from student to staff member exemplifies the university's dedication to fostering lifelong learning and community support. 

Leann's path to her current role as an Administrative Support Coordinator in the Kinesiology Department is a testament to her unwavering dedication to both personal and professional development. It all began when she first encountered CSUSB during her time at a community college. A representative from the university provided her with invaluable information and assistance during the admissions process, setting the stage for her transformative journey. 

A proud alumna of CSUSB, Leann holds a degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in English. Her academic journey at the University laid the foundation for her passion for education and student success, which continues to drive her in her current role. With around 20 years of experience as both a student and staff member at CSUSB, Leann recognizes the importance of staying updated with evolving technologies. She eagerly seeks to further develop her skills in this area to better support the university community. 

Outside of her professional endeavors, Leann is deeply involved in various activities that enrich her life and the lives of those around her. As the New Member Education & Member Experience Advisor of Alpha Phi Sorority’s Eta Beta Chapter on campus, she fulfills a vital role in guiding and supporting her fellow sisters through their academic and personal journeys. Additionally, Leann is an active member of her church, enjoys attending musicals, indulges in reading books, and cherishes moments spent traveling with her family. 

Leann's dedication extends beyond her interests to her aspirations for the future. Despite her recent transition to the Kinesiology Department, she envisions herself continuing to contribute to the development of the CSUSB community for years to come by providing exemplary customer service to faculty, fellow staff, and students. 

Her commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment underscores her values of continual learning and growth. 

One of Leann's most cherished achievements and contributions to CSUSB is her role as an Advisor for the Alpha Phi Sorority’s Eta Beta Chapter. This experience has allowed her to make a meaningful impact on the lives of CSUSB students, further solidifying her commitment to student success and community engagement. 

As Leann continues to embark on her professional journey at CSUSB, she remains grateful for the opportunities and support she has received along the way. Her dedication to personal and professional growth serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and fellow staff members. Through her tireless efforts, Leann exemplifies the spirit of commitment and community that defines CSUSB.
