A day of thought-provoking conversation and enriching empowerment is set to take place at the Women’s Leadership Conference today, Friday, Feb. 2, at Cal State San Bernardino.
The First Peoples’ Center at CSUSB’s Santos Manuel Student Union celebrated its second grand opening Feb. 2 and formally received a proclamation from state Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes recognizing it and its work.
A day filled with inspirational keynote speakers, engaging breakout sessions and a panel of empowering women made up the Women’s Leadership Conference at Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 2.
The award-winning play, “The Vagina Monologues,” will be performed at Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, Feb. 16, and Saturday, Feb. 17, at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union Theater.
The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Santos Manuel Student Union Tickets are $6 and are available at the ASI box office. Fifty free tickets will be available to students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A group of students heard firsthand from Siah Gaye, a Sacramento State alumnus, on why being involved in student groups may give them an advantage.
The Korean Festival at Cal State San Bernardino, which is open to the public, will offer attendees the opportunity to experience Korean culture through art, food and performance on Friday, April 27.
The conference on Friday, May 4, will feature keynote speakers, breakout workshops and tours of the campus.
About 80 CSUSB students, staff and faculty gathered for discussions, speakers and exercises as part of 50/50 Day, a global day of events about working toward a more gender-balanced world.
