The John M. Pfau Library – along with Edward James Olmos, Latino Literacy Now and the Santos Manuel Student Union – hosted the sixth annual Inland Empire Latino Book and Family Festival on April 28.
The program was implemented to provide the students with early college awareness, preparedness and information to increase the number of African-American and Latino males who enroll and graduate from college.
The Asian and Pacific Islander Center, on the second floor of the Santos Manuel Student Union, was created to help develop student leadership through mentoring as well as transformative learning opportunities.
