The opening program, “South Asian Stories at Sunset,” presented a rich cultural texture that broadened what it means to be a member of the Asian American, Pacific Islander and South Asian community at Cal State San Bernardino.

Student Affairs is bringing spirit days to CSUSB and is encouraging students to use the Coyote Connection platform to stay updated with on-campus organizations and events. Coyote Spirit Day is every Thursday this semester.
Ramos, a CSUSB alumnus, and bird singers from Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indians gathered in front of the Santos Manuel Student Union North to celebrate the month with traditional singing and dancing.
In addition to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, this experience is the perfect opportunity for those who haven’t visited these campus locations in person to virtually walk around and interact with one another the same way they would in person. In this truly immersive experience, guests can also meet virtually and have conversations in real-time.
The university is getting a head start on the annual celebration of its Asian, Pacific Islander and South Asian communities. Nationally, Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month is celebrated during the month of May, but because the university has a short month in May with finals, CSUSB starts its celebration in April.
With the construction project now complete, the Santos Manuel Student Union would like to highlight the CSUSB staff members whose coordination and expertise were instrumental in the construction of SMSU North.
Coyote Hour was created to give a time for students to get involved in campus activities, meet with other students and learn about the campus affinity centers.
CSUSB is celebrating Womxn’s History Month with the theme “Meeting at the Intersections: What’s HERstory?” A list of events is at the CSUSB Womxn’s History Month website.
