Summer Aid Disbursements

Financial aid disbursements are determined by the sessions enrolled and the total number of units. Based on federal regulations, Summer financial aid disbursements will occur after Spring final grades are posted and after Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) has been processed.

Federal Pell Grant

  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least one unit for the Pell Grant to disburse.
  • Classified credential students must be enrolled in at least 6 units of Pell eligible teaching credential courses.

Loans

Loan funds will be issued once enrollment is confirmed. Undergraduate/credential students must meet the minimum 6 units requirement and graduate students must meet the 3-unit of 5000+ level coursework requirement before funds will disburse.

Enrollment Changes

  • Withdrawals -If you withdraw during any session and have received a financial aid disbursement, you may be required to repay financial aid funds. Unit enrollment will be reviewed at census, Office of Financial Aid & Scholarship uses 5W2 census date of 7/14/2025.
