To be eligible for federal and state aid, you must meet the following criteria:
- Accepted for Admission and enrolled in an eligible degree or teacher credential program
- Most programs require you to show demonstrated financial need · as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Ba a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Be registered with Selective Service if you are a male as assigned at birth
- Have a Social Security number
- Have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent requirement
- Not be in default on any student loan or owe a refund on any grant made under the Title IV program
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements
- Cannot submit false, misleading or incomplete information to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
