Interfraternity Council (IFC) Recruitment Process
The Interfraternity Council conducts membership recruitment within the first few weeks of each Fall and Spring semesters. Typically, there are a number of informational and social events that all chapters organize to allow interested men to meet active members and learn about their organization.
In the Fall Semester, all of the fraternities distribute invitations for membership (commonly referred to as a 'bid') together through the IFC. In the Spring Semester, each chapter develops its own recruitment schedule. We encourage you to ask each organization questions about the recruitment and bid process.
To participate in fraternity recruitment, a man must be enrolled in at least twelve (12) units at CSUSB, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (Individual chapters may have a higher GPA requirement to join).
