Facilities Subcommittee

Subcommittee Charge:

The facilities subcommittee is responsible for:

  • Conducting research on post-pandemic trends and change considerations in higher education facility design.  Share results with the Steering Committee.
  • Reviewing plans and schedules to understand the impacts to physical space on campus. This includes evaluating changes that need to be made to physical space to provide proposed instruction modalities.
  • Initiating and sharing of expertise to support planning efforts and understand space implications of planning direction, including energy use, maintenance, and disinfection impacts.

The facilities subcommittee is accountable to the Post-Pandemic Planning Steering Committee through the chair (*) who serves as a liaison for the sub-committee to the steering committee.
