Since the Coachella Valley has a $8.7 billion hospitality and tourism industry, there is often a need for qualified applicants for managerial positions. That’s why the Palm Desert Campus launched the Hospitality Management Program. CSUSB is building a world-class program that will attract the best students from the Coachella Valley and beyond.

Italy Study Abroad (Informational Flyer)
Date: Match 28 to April 5, 2025 (Spring Break)
Required course: HOSM 2500 Hospitality & Tourism Management (3 units)
Cost: $3,700 per person, all-inclusive ($2,200 grants are available for the first 10 hospitality management students who sign up).
What does it include?
Airfare (PSP), all land transportation, hotel lodging (double occupancy), meals, activities, museums, tasting tours, cooking classes, and food factory tours. Attend lectures by Italian faculty, government, and hospitality and tourism professionals in the cities of Florence, Reggio Emilia, Bologna, and Parma.
This trip is faculty-coordinated and led by Dr. Joseph Tormey, director and Dr. Michelle Russen, assistant professor of the hospitality management program.
