Assistant Teacher Positions
Child development students who are interested in building their professional resume while attending classes at CSUSB are able to apply for a Student Assistant Position at the Infant/Toddler Lab School. When the center is actively hiring, a job posting can be found through CSU employment/PageUp.
Student assistants can work up to 20 hours per week and we provide new scheduling each semester that works around your class schedule.
To be considered for an assistant teacher position, you:
- Must have taken CD2250 (Infant/Toddler Development)
- Must be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practice and positive guidance strategies
- Must provide fingerprint clearance prior to employment
The following requirements are preferred but not required:
- Child Development major
- Experience with young children
