Study Abroad in Spain in Summer 2026

Madrid, Comillas, Santander, and Santiago de Compostela

The 2-week summer program will include stays in three cities, guided cultural and academic activities, and a particular emphasis on the Way of Saint James (“El Camino de Santiago), a famous pilgrimage and commercial route of multicultural exchange in the northern Spanish region. Specific attention will be given to the themes of business relations, trade, diversity, gender, hospitality, historical and natural resources, as well as literature and popular culture around the topic of “El Camino de Santiago”.

Courses 

This program includes 2 courses:

  • SPAN 5557: International Experience (3 units) 
  • PA 3150: Society, Business, & Global Governance (3 units) 

Both courses count towards the Certificate in Spanish for Business Management and Public Administration. The courses and its unique experience abroad will provide background and consideration to the commercial and multicultural exchange that played a crucial role in shaping Spanish and European societies interconnected by the cultural impact of the Way of Saint James.

Cost and Financial Aid

Includes meals, lodging, local transport, and guided visits.

The program fee does not include tuition, airfare, or personal expenses. Financial Aid is available for this program.
