Curriculum and Textbooks

The Certificate Program in Spanish for Business Management and Public Administration prepares you to successfully interact with members of the Latino community as you enhance your oral and written competency in professional business Spanish and develop a deeper understanding of Hispanic cultures. You can begin the program in any semester and complete it in 3-4 semesters, depending on your level of Spanish.

How to Enroll

  • SPAN 1112 (or equivalent transfer credit)
  • Spanish AP Exam: Score 4 or higher
  • Spanish Placement Exam: If you are a native speaker of Spanish with no prior Spanish coursework, take the Spanish Placement Exam (it’s free & can be taken any time!)

Note: If you are a fluent native speaker of Spanish, you might be able to test out of the first Spanish class (Span 2111/2251/2261) by taking the Spanish Placement Exam
