The CSUSB Alumni Professor for a Day program provides the opportunity for alumni to speak in a classroom, student groups/orgs, host a workshop, or be a part of a speaker panel. This program celebrates the achievements and honors the contributions of distinguished alumni which describes the value of a CSUSB degree. Their involvement in this program allows them to empower students with the knowledge and wisdom gained through their experiences. One of this program's goals is to provide students with an opportunity to interact with alumni and learn first-hand how their education applies to the real world. Alumni are asked to share their experiences in regard to their career path and profession and are matched to classes and groups according to major, profession, and/or areas of interest. The Professor for a Day program is a wonderful opportunity for alumni to share their professional and life lessons with today’s students.
Participation in this program may be done via a virtual modality such as zoom video-conferencing. Registrants can pre-record a session or speak during a live class session based on the needs of the faculty, student club, or department.
