The writing accountability group (WAG) if for the professional development of faculty. WAG provides a quiet writing space and a supportive writing cohort in the Faculty Center for Excellence (FCE) which facilitates writing scholarly manuscripts (i.e., peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and the like) or external grant applications for submissions.
Summer Writing Accountability Group (SWAG)
The Summer Writing Accountability Group (SWAG) is a four-week summer session offered July 1st thru July 30th. Writing is an essential component of almost all research activities. This summer the ORD is offering an online writing accountability group to assist you with your writing goals.
SWAG will help you:
- Schedule your writing tasks into manageable chunks
- Organize writing tasks
- Be accountable to your writing deadlines
SWAG program expectations:
- Commit to writing at least one hour a day, five days a week
- Send me your writing output to me twice a week
Apply for SWAG by June 25:
To apply, email the Office of Research Development (ResearchDevelopment@csusb.edu) the following:
- Your name and department
- A brief outline of your proposed project
- The current status of your writing project
- Your commitment to write an hour a day, five days a week
- Your commitment to send ORD your writing output twice a week
