Call for Faculty Participants
FUND YOUR RESEARCH WITH GRANTS PROGRAM
Learn how to write a competitive grant proposal that will fund your research. The Grant Proposal Development program will take participants from developing solid specific aims to writing well-crafted full proposals. The program will include general coaching, proposal preparation/grantsmanship skills, and expert editing assistance.
The program will begin with a two-day research grant proposal workshop on January 10-11, 2023, where faculty will work on expanding and/or strengthening their proposal draft. Pre-award support and up to $1,000 in proposal development funds will be available to participants. This proposal development funds can be used to hire additional resources such as an external subject matter expert, a grant editor, or a consultant in their discipline prior to submission. This fund can also be used to attend grant writing training offered externally.
Additionally, the faculty selected for this program will be eligible for professional development funds ($1,000), after they submit their proposal. The development fund can be used for travel to conferences, a site visit to the collaborator’s work, etc.
