Career Fairs
One of our goals is to provide career opportunities for arts and humanities students and career and internship fairs is one way we can achieve this. Career and internship fairs offer Arts and Humanities students invaluable benefits, including networking opportunities with industry professionals, exploration of diverse career paths, access to internship opportunities, resume building and interview practice, insights into industry trends, confidence and professionalism development, and access to resources and support from career services. Participating in these fairs enhances students' chances of success post-graduation by providing them with practical experience, industry connections, and essential skills for their chosen fields.

April 2024 Career & Internship Fair
Arts & Humanities
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Pathways to Success and CSUSB College of Arts and Letters hosted a Career and Internship Fair at the SMSU South Event Center A, tailored for Arts and Humanities students. With over 200 attendees, predominantly from CSUSB but also including students from Norco College and San Bernardino Valley College, the event offered exclusive networking avenues with about 20 organizations, exposure to diverse career trajectories, and access to distinctive internship and job employers. Notably, the fair underscored a growing demand from both students and local employers to provide such specialized opportunities within the arts and humanities realm. This emphasizes the importance of platforms that connect academic institutions with industry, enabling the creation of valuable career opportunities for students studying the arts and humanities. It reflects the changing dynamics of career exploration and job opportunities within this specific domain.
