San Bernardino Campus Orientation
Welcome to California State University, San Bernardino! We are excited you have chosen CSUSB to continue your education. Now that you've been admitted to CSUSB, it's time to get ready for Orientation! Orientation is CSUSB's new student program that is required for all newly admitted undergraduate students to attend. Orientation will help you and your family members as you begin your transition to CSUSB. Entering a new academic community is an important milestone in your life and we want to help make it as successful and as smooth as possible.
It is much more than just choosing classes or taking a campus tour. It's an opportunity to meet other new students, review academic choices with advisors, learn how to be a successful student at CSUSB, and learn what it means to be a Coyote.
Please read below for an overview of our Orientation sessions as they pertain to you.
First Year Students
Orientation is a one-day program in January, designed to connect you to the CSUSB campus and your peers. Every first-year student is required to attend an Orientation session. During these sessions, you’ll hear more about campus resources, engage in activities with your pack (small group), and begin to start your time as a Coyote. For more information and to review dates and program details, visit our First Year Program page.
Transfer Students
Transfer students attend a one-day orientation program in the fall to prepare you to begin at CSUSB in the spring semester. You’ll hear and learn more about campus resources, services, connect with your peers, and academic information. At Orientation, you’ll also register for your fall semester courses!
