CSUSB Guitar Ensemble
The CSUSB Guitar Ensemble offers a unique opportunity for guitarists to play in a group setting which is rarely available for classical guitarists. Historically speaking the classical guitar has always been primarily a solo instrument. Participation in the group allows guitarists to experience musically interactive ideas as a group that many other orchestral instrumentalists experience much more regularly. Members of the ensemble even have the option of arranging music for the group. This affords a real-life experience of both arranging and performing.
