While the campus is currently forming various committees to drive the adoption of AI tools for teaching and learning, as well as streamlining administrative functions, there are various tools that are available and will be available soon to you. This page will be routinely updated to reflect up-to-date tools, policies, and resources.

Dos and Donts
- DO: understand campus and CSU policies around information classification standard

- DO: understand that certain AI-generated materials (such as meeting summary) sent via email may be discoverable
- DO NOT: share, store, or process Level 1 data in any Generative AI tools
Ask Cody 2.0
The next-generation Ask Cody chatbot is available on most campus websites as well as in myCoyote. The new chatbot leverages AI technologies such as ChatGPT and Google Vertex AI.
Zoom AI Companion
Zoom AI Companion is included with the CSUSB Zoom license and will be enabled at the beginning of March 2024. It allows the meeting host to have meetings summarized, draft chat responses, and more. For more information, visit the Zoom AI Companion website.
