Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate Convocation beginning at 9 a.m. in Coussoulis Arena to formally start the beginning of the 2019-20 academic year.
Cal State San Bernardino President Tomás D. Morales will give the keynote speech as part of the annual Convocation celebration on Monday, Sept. 18, at the university’s Coussoulis Arena.
Convocation, the official launch of the new academic year, is “an occasion where foundation and future converge,” said Tomás D. Morales, CSUSB president, said during his annual address at Coussoulis Arena Sept. 18.
The Black Faculty, Staff and Student Association at CSUSB will host the annual ceremony at 10 a.m. June 2 at Coussoulis Arena.
About 125 students were honored at the 25th annual Black Graduation held recently by the CSUSB Black Faculty, Staff and Student Association at Coussoulis Arena.
CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales, in a welcome message, wrote: “I am eager to move forward in partnership with all of you to help CSUSB continue to make a difference in the lives of the residents of our Inland Empire.”
