Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate Convocation on Monday, Sept. 16, to formally start the beginning of the 2019-20 academic year.

Now entering his seventh year in leading the university, CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales will deliver the keynote address, sharing the university’s achievements during the past year and goals for the new academic year.

Convocation will also include the introduction of new student and faculty leaders; the announcement of new administrators; the awarding of staff awards in various categories; and short videos will be shown.

The event will also feature CSUSB alumni from the Class of 1969, who are returning to their alma mater to celebrate their golden anniversary.
 
The annual celebration will be held in the university’s Coussoulis Arena starting at 9 a.m., with the live webcast starting then, too. on the university’s Live Webcast page.
