Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate Convocation for 2018 on Monday, Sept. 17, to formally start the beginning of the 2018-19 academic year.Now entering his seventh year in leading the university, CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales will deliver the keynote address, sharing the university’s achievements during the past year and goals for the new academic year.Convocation will also include the introduction of new student and faculty leaders; the announcement of new administrators; the awardingof staff awards in various categories; and short videos will be shown.The event will also feature seven CSUSB alumni from the Class of 1968, who are returning to their alma mater to celebrate their golden anniversary.The annual celebration will be held in the university’s Coussoulis Arena starting at 9 a.m., with the live webcast starting then, too. on the university’s Live Webcast page.
