The CSUSB Coyote volleyball team, which captured the NCAA Division II National Championship in December, the university’s first national title, was honored during a block party on campus on Feb. 28.
The team received a standing ovation as San Bernardino Mayor John Valdivia praised the team for their winning the 2019 NCAA Division II national championship.
CSUSB and its Palm Desert Campus will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. The men’s basketball team will host the CSUSB Thanksgiving Classic Nov. 29-30 in Coussoulis Arena.
As part of the Tara VanDerveer Fund for the Advancement of Women in Coaching grant, CSUSB selected volleyball assistant coach and Coyote alumna Kelcie Tolan as the female coaching fellow.
