The CSUSB Coyote volleyball team, which captured the NCAA Division II National Championship in December, the university’s first national title, was honored during a block party on campus on Feb. 28.
During the celebraiton held in the University Hall Plaza, the team was congratulated and praised for its hard work, determination and dedication. With a 33-0 record, Cal State San Bernardino became only the third undefeated champion in NCAA Division II history.
The Coyotes proudly wore their national championship caps standing alongside the NCAA Division II championship trophy that they captured to complete a historic season.
Just as impressive, the student-athletes also led in the classroom, earning CCAA Conference All-Academic honors and maintaining the highest GPA of any CSUSB athletic team.
