
Cal State San Bernardino is the only California State University campus recognized in the rankings, and one of only five universities in California to make the list.

The 20th anniversary gala will include special Legacy Awards to two outstanding previous Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award recipients along with the featured award recipients.

This year’s ShEconomy event on Oct. 20, hosted by the JHBC Office of Academic Equity, will cover the topic, “Is entrepreneurship worth leaving your full-time job?”

Rosemarie Gilbert, who will graduate with her Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is the Outstanding Graduate Student, and William Nguyen, who will graduate with his bachelor’s in accounting, is the Outstanding Undergraduate.

Mike Stull (entrepreneurship) is CSUSB’s 2021-22 Golden Apple Award recipient, research by Brian Levin (criminal justice) is cited, and Owen J.P. Murphy (computer science emeritus) wrote an opinion piece on the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Golden Apple Award nominating committee said that one can easily feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Professor Michael Stull’s teaching contributions.

The CSUSB Innovation Challenge, set for May 5, is looking for the cutting-edge idea that will help change the campus, the community or quite possibly the world. Open pitch information sessions on how to participate are set for April 5 and 6.

Ever since he was a CSUSB student, entrepreneurship professor Mike Stull says the diversity on campus has shaped him into who he is today.
