Introduction
The Diversity and Equity in Promotion, Tenure, and Hiring (DEPTH) project was created to enact initiatives dedicated to increasing the number of women and underrepresented minority faculty at CSUSB. DEPTH initiatives are a collaborative effort between faculty and administration that are supported by grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) ADVANCE program and CSU Chancellor’s Office. Although the ADVANCE grant ends on August 31, 2022, the DEPTH Center will continue to operate through 2022-2023 and the resources developed through the DEPTH initiatives will remain available online for use by CSUSB and other institutions.
