We embrace each faculty member’s individuality in growing their own critical information literacy assignments for their courses. From 2016-2018, we offered a Critical Information Literacy Faculty Award, which included librarian support for faculty developing a CIL assignment to integrate into one or more courses. After the award activity, faculty submitted a culminating report about their teaching/learning experience. Below you will find some of these reports, along with assignments created out of a 2020 library workshop in support of those teaching CIL in the General Education program.
