The assessment of student learning allows for continuous improvement of the educational experience provided to our students. At CSUSB, we constantly and systematically evaluate how well our students learn, both inside and outside the classroom.
Using a multitude of measures, student learning outcomes are assessed on a regular basis at the institutional, general education, program and course levels. The findings of these assessment activities provide insight into how well student learning outcomes are met and inform ongoing efforts to improve programs and learning activities.

Institutional Accreditor, WSCUC
Our institutional accreditor, WSCUC offers the key indicators dashboard to examine institution sizes, student completion rates, student finances, institutional finances, post-graduate outcomes, and to conduct peer benchmarking.
Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System
IPEDS is the primary source for information on U.S. colleges, universities, and technical and vocational institutions. Use the “find/search your college” menu option and then navigate to California State University-San Bernardino to learn more about our institution and/or draw comparisons with other institutions.
The College Scorecard website can be used to search and compare colleges including fields of study, costs, admissions, results, and more.
Growing Inland Achievement (GIA)
Growing Inland Achievement (GIA) is a regional K-16 collaborative working to achieve educational and economic equity in the Inland Empire. GIA offers regional dashboards for regional data on college and career readiness, degrees and certificates, demographics, dual enrollment, FAFSA completion, labor market, and postsecondary success.
