Portuguese is the second most spoken Romance language, after Spanish. It is the ninth most spoken language in the world, with an estimated 232 million native speakers and 258 million speakers overall.

Brazil is the fifth-largest country in the world by both area and population, covering approximately 3.3 million square miles and home to over 210 million people.

 

Brazil is home to over 200 Indigenous tribes, each with its own unique culture, traditions, and languages, many of which are still preserved despite external pressures.
