
The California State University’s Super Sunday, set for Feb. 23, is an initiative that focuses on the importance of higher education. Black and African American congregations across California will receive presentations from CSU officials.

The 12th annual Pioneer Breakfast will take place on Friday, Feb. 28, from 9-11 a.m., celebrating the remarkable contributions of African Americans who have profoundly impacted CSUSB.

Organized by students in the Advanced Entertainment Marketing Planning and Strategy class within the Department of Marketing, the Dec. 6 Coyote Comedy Fest not only showcased a lineup of talented comedians but also provided a hands-on learning opportunity for the students. Proceeds from the event will go toward student scholarships.

The Giving Tuesday funds donated by more than 600 people across the nation will directly benefit CSUSB student scholarships, essential resources and impactful programs.

The Coyote Comedy Fest is returning to Cal State San Bernardino for its 11th annual show on Dec. 6 at Santos Manuel Student Union North. Tickets are available now.

Cal State San Bernardino will hold its university-wide Giving Tuesday campaign on Dec. 3. This event, celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the U.S., raises funds to support student scholarships and programs.

The scholarship recipients – Caroleena Santana, a psychology major, and Zachary Perez, a business analytics major – were honored at a luncheon at San Bernardino Valley College on Oct. 25.

Local African American high school students from Riverside County gained academic and financial resources through interactive workshops and hands-on assistance at the Scholarship Success Summit: Your Path to Higher Education.

This significant investment in student success not only underscores the campus’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and making higher education accessible to all, but also aims to empower students in their academic pursuits and alleviate their financial burdens.
