International Education Week, Nov. 18-22, celebrates the role that global learning plays in student success. CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales highlights the transformative impact of international education, creating global opportunities for students through study abroad, international partnerships, and a diverse campus community.
CSUSB and NIMS University, India, have agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to foster academic excellence and support cross-cultural understanding.
The international partnerships will be designed to enhance international understanding and deepen friendship between CSUSB and Lviv Polytechnic National University, and CSUSB and Krakow University of Economics.
The agreement, the first of its kind, will provide a pathway for Rialto Unified School District students to fulfill admissions requirements at Cal State San Bernardino, which will allow them to enroll and earn their bachelor’s degrees and teaching credentials, and return to their home district as teachers.
The initial areas of international collaboration will promote joint activities and seminars for students and faculty from both universities focused on entrepreneurship, research activities and innovation technology.
Under the agreement, both institutions will work to create a college prep program and enrollment support to increase the number of Native American students earning a bachelor’s degree.
CSUSB and the Universidad Pedagogica y Tecnologica de Columbia have signed a memorandum of understanding created to boost joint areas of interest that include student exchange programs, teacher exchange programs and research studies.
The agreement calls for both universities to promote academic cooperation and strengthen education, cultural and technological ties.
