CSUSB’s Counseling and Psychological Services supports the university's academic success and social justice mission by promoting the mental well-being of CSUSB students, the campus community, and the surrounding region. This is achieved through mental health counseling, advocacy, outreach, and consultation in a safe, supportive, and culturally informed environment.

Institutional Equity and Compliance (Title IX): (909) 537-5669
Incorporated within the Nondiscrimination Policy, IEC is responsible for coordinating the University's compliance with Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination, misconduct, and harassment in education. IEC investigates and resolves complaints of sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and retaliation and provides education and training on Title IX compliance to the University community.

CSUSB Police investigate all types of crimes reported to the CSUSB Police Department. They also provide 24-hour escort services that transport CSUSB students, staff, faculty, or others who are concerned for their safety. The CSUSB Police Department can serve restraining orders on campus and enforce them.

The CARE Team reviews, assesses, and responds to student issues that may present barriers to their personal and academic success, such as food and housing insecurity, emotional distress, health concerns, or other personal challenges. The team's role is to provide a supportive resource for students, address student concerns, and maintain a safe campus environment.

The Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center provides culturally responsive and inclusive advocacy, support, and services to survivors and families affected by sexual violence, including sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. Project Sister Family Services is dedicated to providing services to the women, children, and male survivors of sexual assault and abuse and their families in the East San Gabriel and Inland Valleys in Southern California, a region with a population of over 2.3 million persons. RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

Services San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Inland Counties Legal Services works to close the justice gap for people with limited incomes, disabilities, or who are 60 or over. The Justice Gap is the difference between people's legal needs and the resources needed to meet those needs. Assistance is provided with family/domestic violence and immigration cases.
