About the ASCM-Inland Empire Chapter scholarship:
Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) is the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management which provides educational events and certification programs that elevate end-to-end supply chain excellence, innovation, and resilience. The ASCM-Inland Empire Chapter (ASCM-IE) covers the Inland Empire of the Southern California region by promoting similar goals and activities.
CSUSB has continued productive collaboration with ASCM-IE. Recently, ASCM-IE established an endowed scholarship for students pursuing a degree in supply chain, logistics, and transportation management at CSUSB. The scholarship will be awarded through the university’s main scholarship process to two students per year majoring in supply chain, logistics, and transportation management that have shown outstanding academic performance. The goal of the scholarship is to promote interest in the field which is named as one of the main drivers of the economic growth in the Inland Empire. The scholarship will have a significant impact on supporting students' excellence in their education who will become the future leaders and decision-makers of the region.
Eligibility criteria:
We are looking for 2 recipients that meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate majoring in Administration, concentration in Supply Chain Management OR Graduate MBA in Global Supply Management OR MS in Logistics and E-Commerce programs
- Demonstrate interest in pursuing careers in Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing/Operations Management
- Members of the CSUSB ASCM Student Chapter
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
