Tutoring Center at PDC
Tutors are here to support all students in the available subjects/courses offered during the semester.
We encourage you to make an appointment or stop by at IW-203 for a drop-in.
We offer In-person and Online tutoring options:
PLEASE NOTE:
Appointments can be made through Navigate, which is accessed through MyCoyote. Step by step instructions are down below. You may request 30 minute or 1 hour appointments. Online appointments are 1-on-1. In-person can assist multiple students.
STEPS TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
- Log into your myCoyote.
- Go to the ‘Academics’ tab at the top and use the drop-down menu to access ‘Navigate.’ Alternatively, you can use the magnifying glass on the top of your myCoyote to search up ‘Navigate.’ Click the first option, ‘My Academics,’ and then from there, scroll down through the icons until you find ‘Navigate.’
- Once you are in your ‘Student Home,’ click ‘Schedule Appointment,’ the blue button on the upper right side of the screen.
- Under ‘What type of appointment would you like to schedule?’ use the drop-down to choose the ‘ASUA Academic Support’ option.
- Under ‘Service,’ use the drop-down to choose ‘PDC Tutoring for my course - (subject).’
- Under 'Meeting Type', select either In-Person or Virtual.
- Under ‘Pick a Date,’ pick the day you would like to receive tutoring for your course.
- Click ‘Find Available Time.’ Now in the ‘New Appointment’ tab, you can filter or search for specific staff, location, course, and meeting type.
- On the right-hand side, you should be able to view your courses to see both available times and tutors at the location you have selected. Click ‘View individual availabilities.’
- Click on a tutor available to tutor for your course of choice.
- The tutor’s availability should show up, and upon picking a time and day that works for you, you’ll be taken to the ‘Review Appointment Details and Confirm’ page. Edit your appointment if necessary.
- To successfully schedule your appointment, click ‘Schedule’ at the very bottom
