About SMSU Marketing
The Marketing Department provides multi-channel marketing services to the SMSU affinity centers as well as to on-campus departments. Our services include, but are not limited to graphic design, photography and communication/social media strategies. Additionally, our department develops and implements marketing campaign efforts to increase brand awareness of the student union and its services as a whole.
The SMSU Marketing Department offers a wide variety of graphic design services to various On-Campus and Off-Campus Entities, including:

Choose from one of the Graphic Design Request forms to start the Graphic Design Work Order process. We highly encourage face-to-face and/or electronic consultaions on all projects in order to expidite our design process. Our marketing team will be happy to provide you with reasonable estimates for any project.
Please allow at least 2 weeks for all design projects. All projects will require consultations with a graphic designer.
SMSU Hourly Design Rates
- Charter Clubs & Organizations - $13/hr
- CSUSB Students - $15/hr
- On-Campus Entities - $20/hr
- Off-Campus Entities - $23/hr
Student Union Screens Digital Advertising
Throughout the SMSU are several large display monitors used to advertise student events. The use of these monitors is offered for advertising to On-Campus Entities, Chartered Clubs & Organizations.

- Please allow 2 business days for your artwork to appear on screen in order to process payment and to upload file.
- 1 week = 7 consecutive days
- 1 month = 4 consecutive weeks
- 1 Semester = 16 consecutive weeks
- All ads submitted will be charged separate fees regardless of start and end time.
- Ads rotate every 10 seconds
- Number of views by user will vary based on the number of ads submitted.
