Our Values

Community
We approach our research with diligence and scientific rigor because we know our communities, those who have been underserved and underrepresented, deserve effective and evidence-based solutions.

Equity
We address disparities in mental health and in the field of mental health through our research and lab mentorship. We respect the differences across and within communities and investigate empirically-guided treatment adaptations to meet different needs.

Mentorship
We provide opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students for learning and growth in academic and clinical settings through active involvement in research. We honor our individual roots in diverse communities and allow our backgrounds to strengthen the lab and our research.
