Upward Bound (UB)
The Upward Bound Program assists high school students in both graduating and completing a postsecondary education by providing participants one-on-one academic guidance and support; individual and group tutoring; access to college campus visits throughout the state; providing real-life college experiences through the Summer University held at California State University San Bernardino; and providing guidance and instruction on successfully navigating all aspects of the complex college going process.

The TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at California State University, San Bernardino is a federally funded initiative aimed at aiding adults aged 19 and above who wish to pursue higher education, obtain their High School Diploma or GED, or enroll in certificate, vocational, trade, community college, or university programs.

First Star Academy
First Star CSUSB Academy seeks to improve the academic outcomes for youth in foster care by providing academic support and mentorship, as well as by facilitating the development of life-skills, college readiness, and an adult support network, to ensure they graduate high school and persist through postsecondary education.

College Corps
The College Corps initiative by #CaliforniansForAll is a state fellowship program that supports college students in contributing to their communities through volunteer service in three key areas: addressing climate change, combating food insecurity, and enhancing K-12 education. The program has three primary objectives: cultivating a generation of civic-minded leaders, assisting low-income students in timely graduation with reduced debt burdens, and tackling societal issues to foster more equitable communities statewide, including AB-540 eligible dreamers.
