Political Science Departmental Requirements to Take Graduate (600-level) Courses through Open University.
In addition to the University regulations, below are the Political Science departmental requirements for Open University students seeking to take 600-level courses:
- Official copies of undergraduate transcripts delivered to:
- Political Science Department
California State University, San Bernardino
San Bernardino, CA 92407-2393
- Political Science Department
- A 3.0 GPA or better in the last 90 quarter units or last 60 semester units of undergraduate courses
- Completed PSCI 203 (2030) U.S. Government or equivalent
- Conditional approval to take graduate (600-level) courses through Open University may be granted by the Chair of the Political Science Department on a case-by-case basis for students who are seeking to take 600-level courses in our department with the intent to matriculate into the M.A. in National Security Studies program or the M.S. in National Cyber Security Studies program
- Open University students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in 600-level courses in our department in the first 16 quarter units or 12 semester units of graduate coursework. If a GPA of at least 3.0 is not maintained, Open University students will not be allowed to take further 600-level courses in our department
