CSUSB is presently a legacy institution of the Intelligence Community Centers of Academic Excellence (IC CAE) program. The NSS program's participation first started with the creation of the CSU Academic Center of Excellence (CSU-ACE) in 2006 through a multi-year, multi-million dollar grant from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). A second grant was awarded by ODNI and managed by the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2012, continuing our role as a Center of Academic Excellence. As a legacy CAE member, activities and events are facilitated by the National Security Studies club.
