MS - Human Resource Management

Master of Science in Human Resource Management

The Master of Science (MS) in Human Resource Management (HRM) program offers students a comprehensive graduate education to help accelerate their careers in management and human resources. The 30-unit (10-course), 2-year program will provide coursework and experiential learning activities and expose students to the foundational concepts of human resource management, including managing human capital, strategic human resources, compensation, employee relations, employment law, training & development, and workplace planning.

The program will have a final, culminating experience, that will help prepare students to sit for the SHRM certification exam.

Admission to the Program

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with required minimum GPA of 3.0, as well as a Personal Statement, Resume, Letter of Recommendation, and Interview. $70 Application fee.

Application Deadlines

  • Fall: July 31st (International Student, June 1st)
  • Spring: January 10th (International Student, November 1st)
Estimated Program Cost = $27,000

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program provides post-baccalaureate students with a high-quality masters-level education in the field of business administration. The program is designed to prepare promising students for positions of increasing responsibility and leadership through education in the broad scope of business. It is open to all qualified students regardless of undergraduate major.

Master of Public Administration: Human Resources Concentration

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is designed to prepare students for careers in public and non-profit service. The degree provides the student with a generalist perspective of public administration, including professional skills such as ethical leadership and management; strategic planning and performance evaluation; budgeting and finance; evidenced-based decision-making; human resource management; the public policy process; and a broad understanding of the democratic governance system.
