International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition (AY23-24)
Subject: Open Invitation: International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition
Greetings Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration students,
I hope everyone is having an incredible Fall Semester.
I would like to take this time to extend an invitation to compete in the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition and represent CSU, San Bernardino. This is an extended invitation only. You will need to meet a few requirements to be able to participate in the competition. These requirements include a 3.0 GPA and you must be enrolled in the 2024 Spring semester.
The International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition is a challenging competitive event that serves universities, their students, and the business community. The Competition provides students with an exciting learning experience in which they, in direct competition with other college teams, run a simulated company and have the opportunity to network with business executives and students from around the world.
I had the fortune of competing in this event as an undergraduate student at CSUSB and can sincerely say that it was the most memorable experience of my college career. The competition has two phases, a remote phase and an onsite phase. In order to compete, you will have to be available and commit time to this competition which will take place from January to April of 2024 with the onsite phase taking place in Anaheim, California from April 18 – 20, 2024. You can receive credit for this competition as an independent study.
I ask that you kindly reply to this email (Jose.NavarreteCruz@csusb) as soon as possible expressing your interest in the competition. Please include the best contact information (phone number and email) as well as your availability in November for a 1 to 2-hour meeting. Spaces in the competition are limited. We only have 10 to 12 available positions for our undergraduate teams and 4 to 6 positions for our graduate team.
You can read more about the competition in the following links.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
