The JHBC Dean's Advisory Board serves as a source of advice and thought leadership to the dean on skill requirements and emerging trends in industry, nonprofit, and government sectors to ensure programs serve the needs of today's employers. The board serves as a conduit between JHBC and a variety of communities to increase relevancy of programs offered, engagement and mentorship of students. Finally, the board functions to serve as an advocate for the welfare of the college and a resource for the next generation for jobs and internships.
The Dean's Advisory Board helps students close the gap so that students can have the confidence, the right tools and the work ethic to be successful in their career choice. The Advisory Board brings students, JHBC, the professional workforce & community together in one spot to discuss trends, ideas, and ways to assist one another.
