More than 1,000 Cal State San Bernardino students took refuge from warm, balmy weather by sledding, snowboarding and playing in makeshift wintery conditions for the 11th annual CSUSB Snow Day held on Jan. 18.
More than 470 CSUSB students, first-year alumni, their families and friends participated in an after-hours shopping spree on professional business attire and accessories at JCPenney in San Bernardino on Oct. 14.
Richard Montañez, the inventor of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, will be the keynote speaker at the event on Jan. 24 at the Santos Manuel Student Union.

“My story is about diversity, it’s about innovation, it’s about imagination,” said Richard Montañez. “All you need is one revelation to create a revolution.”

Winter came to Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 12 with the annual Snow Day, held for the 12th time at the Lower Commons.
The suit up event provides students with exclusive discounts on select men’s and women’s career dress apparel and shoes. Current students and first-year alumni will receive a special discount card of 40 percent off their purchase at the event.
